Palm Strings Instrument Rental Investment Program

If we didn't think we had the finest quality rental instruments available in the country, then we would not offer them for rent coat to coast. In addition, we have one of the best rental programs in the country known as our Rental Investment Program which allows our customers to invest 100% of their monthly rental payments for up to 18 months credit towards the purchase of a higher qulaity instrument in the future. Whether you are just  starting out or need a step-up  rental for your school orchestra, we can  provide the most positive experience with  three different levels of  rental instruments.

Whether you want to come to our shop to rent an instrument in person or rent one online, Palm Strings can accommodate you. If you would like to pick up an instrument from our shop in person, please give us a call to set up an appointment. If you are located outside our local area (outside a 100 mile radius), you can have your instrument shipped right to your door.

Our high-quality instrument outfits come with professional-level strings, such as Thomastik Dominant or Evah Pirazzi strings! Our instruments deserve the best quality of strings, and so do you. Our outfits always come with a wooden or composite bow with real horse hair, never synthetic hair. Each one of our instruments is inspected and undergoes a strict and complete customized set-up by a professional Palm Strings luthier. Our tonal adjustments are the best in the business! We also include a free plastic ID tag for your case and a free cake of rosin.

• 100% of your first 18 months of rental payments may be credited toward your own "instrument investment account" and may be applied to the purchase of one of our higher model violins or violas (300 Model or higher). 
• You may use any amount of your accrued rental credit towards the purchase of any one of our fine retail instruments at any time.
• You are allowed to change instrument size and/or model level at any time, without losing any of your rental credit.
• When you purchase an instrument from us, you may trade it in for another one of our instruments at any time. 
• There is only a three (3) month minimum requirement to begin. After that, you will be billed each month automatically.

• We offer our customers an optional "Accident Protection Plan" (APP) for a small additional fee of just $5 each month for violin and viola. This plan covers 60% of the cost of repairs to an instrument in the event damage occurs due to an accident.  
• We do not charge you for the repair of any defects due to manufacturing and/or materials. These free repairs, covered under the optional Accident Protection Plan, do not include the replacement of worn/broken strings or bow re-hairs. 

• Your rental investment credit may not exceed 50% of the cost of the instrument you will purchase in the future.
• You are responsible for the shipping charges any time the instrument needs to be returned to our shop. 
• All plans and related discounts are good only while supplies last and are subject to availability.

This  is for our gently used good quality brand-named student violas. Top  brand name violas such as Johannes Kohr. Eastman Strings, Snow Stringed  Instruments, Jay Haide, Gliga, Concert Instruments, Scherl & Roth,  and Palm Strings can be found in our collection of pre-owned instruments here at our shop. Here is what else you get with this rental outfit:  

1. Comes with your choice of a new composite bow or new wood bow with real horse hair (never synthetic hair).
2. A new dart-style light-weight foam  case with velcro latch and zippers, 2 bow holders, interior  compartment, cloth dust cover, music compartment, and 2  adjustable  carrying shoulder straps. 
3. New cake of rosin.
4. New composite tail piece with 4 built-in fine tuners for easy string tuning.
5. New plastic ID tag.  

Each and every pre-owned instrument is  professionally restored to like-new playing condition and set up by an  expert Palm Strings luthier. Our set-ups include professional-level  strings as well.

This is our most popular rental outfit! Upgrade to our new, never used "La Mia Viola" Model 100 line of violas. Top quality guaranteed. Here is what else you get with this rental outfit: 

1. Your choice of a new composite bow or new wood bow with real horse hair (never synthetic hair).
2. An upgrade to a new dart-style hardwood case with metal latch and zippers, 2 bow holders, humidity gauge, large interior compartment, plastic string tube, cloth dust cover, music compartment, and 2 adjustable back pack-style carrying shoulder straps.
3. A new cake of rosin. 
4. A new Wittner composite tail piece with 4 built-in fine tuners for easy string tuning. 
5. A new plastic ID tag.

Each and every "La Mia Viola" viola is professionally set up by an expert Palm Strings luthier. Our set-ups include professional-level strings as well.
